Project Manager – Aviation
Root Partnerships is one of Australia’s leading project advisory and project management practices, defining and delivering some of the most iconic and challenging projects in our community including Melbourne Airport, Bunjil Place, Western Sydney Airport and The Sydney Opera House.
We are looking for project managers to join our team in Sydney to work on a portfolio of construction projects in the Aviation Sector. The type of construction projects that are commonly found both within a terminal and around the terminal buildings are often diverse in nature; for example you could be upgrading a terminal building or a runway, through to replacing entire baggage handling facilities, to upgrading services like fire protection or HVAC. If you have experience working in or around an airport environment in a consulting or client side project management capacity we are keen to talk to you.
Due to the fact that airports are complex environments within which to work we are looking for people who are able to manage the multiple stakeholders that will be involved in the project portfolio. We want talent that can build strong relationships right across the stakeholder group and who can work in a collaborative manner. Root Partnerships believes in building lasting relationships, we work collaboratively and we do things right with a strong moral compass. We need people with the same values.
Skills and Experience
- Have a background in the construction industry e.g. an Architect, Project Engineer, Civil or Structural Engineer or Construction Project Manager, M&E Services
- Someone who understands the life-cycle of construction projects
- Have the right to work in Australia and are currently based in Sydney (preferred).
- Ideally worked for Australian Public or blue chip private clients for the last 2-3 years in Australia in an Airport Environment or on Airport related construction projects.
